Without spoiling Crisis Core, I guess all I can say is in about 5 seconds Cloud's grip on reality is going to snap like a taunt rubber band, sending him spiraling down toward insanity.

There's so many things that went wrong with this, I'm not even going to mention most. My biggest complaint is I couldn't figure out how to make him look wet. (at least without experimentation and potentially ruining the whole thing)
I was inspired by the lovely 's entry to a "Kick Your Own Ass" contest. After seeing her entry, I decided to make my own FF pic, then try drawing the same character again in 4 years. If my improvement is anything like hers, I think I'll be able to die happy.
